"Sounds Like London is a fantastic initiative by the Mayor of London. Shining a light on the creativity, vitality and beacon of culture that London clubs, bars and venues of all kinds bring to our city demonstrates a commitment to everyone that loves and believes in the future of our city. Spread across June, Sounds Like London showcases what is so fantastic about our offering and how our licensed premises are the hotbed of innovation - and the platform for the next new musical phenomenon - that shapes our cultural landscape both in Britain and globally.
The NTIA is a proud supporter and participant of #SoundsLikeLondon , which our industry event on Tues 12 June at Dinerama in Shoredtich is promoting. We invite all venues and promoters to be a part of this - making London better, together!"
Alan D Miller, Chairman, Night Time Industries Association
The NTIA is presenting the Summer Solstice Trade Festival to celebrate our successes in 2017/18 within the Night Time Industry across London and the UK - and we would like you to join us.
The Summer Solstice Festival will take place on Tuesday 12 June 2018 at Dinerama, at 1pm, with DJ Norman Jay headlining.
Attending this special occasion are a range of key note speakers and decision makers from the heart of the industry who will share and discuss how we have progressed. Innovators will present initiatives set to change the face of our business, drawing parallels with representatives from the world over.
In the evening we'll host a showcase festival for those who normally don't have the opportunity to attend such an event to come along and enjoy. This will give members of the Night Time Sector a platform to network, socialise and gain strength from an association represented by like minded people with a vision for the future of the industry.
As part of this celebration, the NTIA - as a representative of the Night Time Industry sector - will present our Manifesto for 2018/19 with a pledge to continue to tackle licensing reform, attitudes, misconceptions and inequality experienced throughout our business. We'll challenge the establishment on legalisation and methodology and enhance the perception of the Night Time Industry both publicly and professionally.
Together we are stronger!
