Fourth Plinth Schools Awards 2018

Every year we invite London’s primary and secondary schoolchildren to create artworks, inspired by the commissions for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square and London life.

Teachers can submit their students' work to us, as indivuduals or in groups. These can be in
any medium including: drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, digital and video.

Have a look at our competition rules before you get started. The deadline for submissions is Friday 9 March 2018 at midnight.

We will be hosting an awards ceremony for the winners at City Hall on 26 April 2018 with prizes from Cass Arts. This year's judge will be announced soon so stay posted!

To get started, download the Fourth Plinth Teachers Resource pack and if you have any questions along the way, please contact: [email protected].

Last year we received over 3,500 ideas from creative young Londoners, featured in our gallery.

As the competition goes on, you'll be able to view all of this year's entries*, and even search by school and year to see your own.

We look forward to seeing your fantastic ideas for the Fourth Plinth Schools Awards.

*all entries are approved by our team before they appear in the gallery.
