The North Circular is busy 24/7 along with Green Lanes with various vehicles . The Air and Noise pollution is a huge worrying dilemma, in fact a nightmare for residents.
There are schools and residential dwellings nearby and along these two hectic busy roads including new flats currently being build with added balconies.
Pollution travels far and affects peoples health on different levels, and other peoples health matters. Even walking and cycling is unhealthy in a polluted atmosphere.
Therefore, would the LONDON MAYOR please try and arrange for suitable trees to be planted along these two roads? (On Green Lanes trees could be planted in street containers).
The Trees overall importance in our environment is well known, which also includes combating Air and Noise Pollution therefore given that Pollution is not going to be eliminated any day soon, Trees ( including Evergreen Trees for all the seasons) are the current answer to London.
I have contacted Enfield Council regarding this matter but their feedback was negative and of course they always state the Council lacks the funds. As I understand many who work in local authorities actual live outside London.
