The London Assembly Transport Committee have published their report “Hostile Streets - Walking and cycling at outer London junctions”. It makes a series of recommendations to the Mayor and Transport for London (TfL), based on fieldwork, meetings, feedback from organisations and Talk Londoners.
These recommendations include speed limits, to run an improvement programme to resolve high risk road danger issues and publishing information on how much of the Healthy Streets funding TfL is spending on each borough.
The Mayor and TfL will be looking at the report and its recommendations in detail. The London Assembly Transport Committee have asked them to report back by 28 February 2018.
