i am absolutely disgusted and appalled by the way The Mayor of London has allowed those who are managing our areas i.e. in North London, Palmers Green and Wood Green to have left them in a poor miserable state, they are either getting paid too much and feel they should sit back and do nothing to encourage or make new or spruce up the shops and high streets turning into a ghost town.
I have never ever seen my local areas look so deliberated like they do now in these so called modern times, all I can see is that Central London is taking all the revenue for themselves and their high streets to please the tourist trade, well the majority of tourist do find staying in Central London very expensive and do prefer to spend a few days staying in North London where the rates are much cheaper for them so why not invest in our North London areas where it is desperately needed, you should be investing in all London areas not just in certain parts when it suits, the word London reflects as a whole!
I have never seen The Mayor of London ever attend our North London areas in all the time he has been in office, to see the endless closures of shops and the poor state it has been left, I want to see a huge turnaround from the mayor as it is his job also to instill in local authorities to do more and encourage shop-keepers to take a interest in boosting trade, sprucing their shops so more people can shop on the high street rather then keep buying online, were told one thing to shop in our areas but then we have to face expensive prices and filthy disgusting shops with miserable faced shopkeepers who have lost their passion because they feel they do not have The Mayor's support to put life back in our communities without all that how can residents alone save the high street, we need your help and input to make dramatic changes.
We have a Mayor of Enfield and a Chairman Costas Georgiou, in Palmers Green that we have been writing to for many years for support & we get no response.
