I have counted numerous homeless charities in London, most I had never heard off and neither had many of my family and friends. Apparently, they all have something very different to offer the homeless, really? How then do each of these charity go about helping the London homeless?
Despite the numerous Homeless charities, homelessness in London alone has dramatically increased in figures and if you walk a lot t like me then you too will had experienced the shocking increase in homelessness in London, surreal in this famous city with our much admired Royal family as residents that also support a London Homeless Charity.
The increase of homelessness is proof that Homeless Charities do very little to decrease even to eliminate the problem of homelessness in London and, despite them using public donations to advertise success stories, they fail to disguise the reality of what we are all experiencing when we venture out and about in London, proof that Homeless charities are achieving very little.
Therefore, I will continue to give clothing, food and even my time as a volunteer but I have decided like others I know, that I will no longer be contributing my money to any London Homeless Charity (including the good idea of the London Mayors contactless donation scheme) unless all these endless Homeless Charities come under 'One Umbrella in London',with one contact number one email and one address for the reassurance of all those who are homeless or about to become homeless, and indeed having all homeless charities under one umbrella would mean that we would be able to check online to see how much has been collected in donations and how the money is actually planned to be spent, this is about being open and organised and really helping the homeless or is this far too much exposure?
