Today I walked to Winchmore Hill N21, towards the direction of Sainsbuys supermarket I noticed as I approached Bounty hill where St John the Evangelist Church directly opposite is Hedge Lane N21, there used to be a planting area full of roses it has been removed by Enfield Council???
Why is Enfield Council environmental dept/tree officers out of touch with the reality that we have and that is heavy pollution in London and it is affecting our Communities and the lack of visitors to enjoy our areas and shopping they have made our areas look sterile. What is the matter with them!!
All they need to do is ask online for local volunteers to help with the planting and maintaining public gardens and plants, it will help create a caring community feel which people desperately need but Enfield Council have proven that they have a very bad relationship with residents. They promised to put the Green back into Palmers, it looks bleak instead...They need to fulfill their promises...and stop letting us down...
If you saw the programme The Queen and the Green Planet then you would of seen that The Queen has more Greenery in her back gardens then Londoners have in their own areas, how does that make sense when she and The Mayor of London are advocates of the importance of nature so why is the Mayor allowing local authorities to destroy what we once had and that was being enveloped with so much greenest and people were so much happier and stress free crime free and our high streets were thriving but not anymore as our nature is being taken away from us.
The Mayor and our Queen are advocating the importance of nature and then doing another who are they fooling!! Where is our Greenery, why are they being removed and not replaced...residents are fuming why is the Mayor not in touch with our North London areas as they are becoming non existent...we want the Mayor to care and take it seriously so its about time he took a interests and take actions to stop nature disappearing.
