Having volunteered and currently in my first proper paid position in the museum and heritage sector, I have read the London Plan with some interest about local enterprise zones. Having just read about Luton's plan to have a local enterprise quarter, what are people's thoughts about who should be involved. Should the decision makers be those people already in a position of power e.g. directors, leaders or should positions be given to those in junior positions. Do you think this would shake things up or just help to repeat the same issues/officepolitics over and over again?
I would like to see representatives from all industries and groups that operate in a borough but my concern is seeing the same people holding more than one position across different bodies and therefore holding too much influence.
