The Mayor

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham received a report from the appointed consultants in December, and the borough made the report available to Transport for London for review. A number of clarification points have been raised and these need to be satisfactorily resolved before a preferred option can be selected and a programme developed.

One of the points relates to the detailed engineering assessment of the bridge cables and pins – it has been agreed that further assessment is required to robustly conclude the options analysis and cost assessment.

It is estimated that this further investigation work will be completed in Spring 2019.
