A significant step change in the provision of facilities has been achieved since my announcement in February 2018. There are now an additional 21 priority routes that have access to a facility, six of which are permanent.

TfL remains on course to achieve facilities serving 42 priority routes (using temporary as well as permanent facilities) later this year. It is engaging more with local communities to ease the introduction of facilities as well as striking a balance between the local environment, available space, connectivity to utilities, and locating toilets near to where routes terminate.
