In a recent Evening Standard Report about the 71 pedestrians who've been hit by TfL Buses in Zebra Crossings since 2016 - https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/new-road-safety-fears-after-71-p…- TfL's Director of Bus Operations is quoted stating: “We are taking every action possible to reduce the unacceptably high number of people killed or seriously injured on our streets." Are (a) "increasing transparency about Bus Contractor Performance"; (b) "improving the public's access to BusCo MDs who you have said are are 'ultimately accountable' for safety" and (c) "holding TfL contract managers to account for bus safety performance" included in these 'every possible' action[s]?

Given the fact that TfL does not have a Bus Operator’s Licence (MQT 2016/0627) and the short time period which TfL permits its Bus Operators to retain critical CCTV evidence (MQT 2017/2109), how can one interpret your obstructive response to MQT 2019/0465 as anything but an admission by TfL that its own Bus Contractors would fail to provide it with bus safety incident data if TfL did not act as a direct intermediary?
