Question

Please advise the number of London Underground station staff in 2016, 2017 and 2018 with a breakdown of what exactly they do and a copy of their generic job specification.

The below tables provide a breakdown of the different roles within London Underground (Stations) for 2016, 2017 & 2018.  Since 2016 the number of different roles have been consolidated as part of the Fit-for-the-Future-Stations programme. 

This programme saw a reduction in the number of station staff from 6,007 in 2016 to 5,222 in 2017.  After discussions with the Trade Unions in February 2017 an additional 325 CSAs were hired, which increased the number of station staff to 5,636 in 2018.
