The historical work, deployment and actions of undercover officers within the now-disbanded Special Demonstration Squad (SDS) and National Public Order Intelligence Unit (NPOIU) is being fully explored by the Undercover Policing Public Inquiry (UCPI).

The Met are fully cooperating with the Undercover Policing Inquiry.  Whilst this Inquiry is proceeding it would be inappropriate to comment on such a matter.
