The statement I made in answer to Mayor's Question 2018/0317 related to the predominance of ad-hoc booking requests, compared to requests for regular (recurring) bookings, received by Dial-a-Ride.

Since October 2017, it has not been possible to request regular journeys on Dial-a-Ride. Therefore, all new requests for Dial-a-Ride journeys are for ad-hoc bookings. While regular journeys cannot be requested, Dial-a-Ride's schedulers now look for patterns of ad-hoc journeys and offer regular arrangements where these can be efficiently accommodated. These changes have helped bring about an increase in the proportion of requested Dial-a-Ride journeys being accommodated. Transport for London will continue working hard to maintain and improve upon this performance.
