The London Resilience Forum (LRF) assesses the risk of an emergency as defined by the Civil Contingencies Act through the London Risk Register.  River and maritime risks are included in the assessment.  Borough Resilience Forums provide the means for agencies to assess risk within borough boundaries, including riverside open spaces, and are informed by the work of the LRF.  The Thames Resilience Panel was formed following the recent review by Lord Harris.  The panel will be represented on the LRF and offers an opportunity to further enhance cooperation and information sharing between responders on the river.  Panel members include the riparian boroughs and other responders with responsibilities on the river.
