    On 29th November 2017 , the Government announced a Competition to run the South-Eastern rail franchise. The Government have decided not to transfer the inner suburban routes to TfL and there appears to be nothing in the franchise documents that would allow such a transfer during the new franchise. Will you continue to make the case to DfT that those Inner suburban routes should be transferred to TfL?

    As a new poll has revealed that more than half of Londoners believe commuter trains have deteriorated over the past year and that the capital's private railway lines should be taken over by Transport for London, will you redouble your efforts to persuade the Government to honour their pre London election promise to transfer commuter lines to TfL?
