The MPS support my vision that nobody killed or seriously injured on the streets of London.  This is part of the wider vision of London being the safest global city.

The MPS will work with TfL on delivering against four key areas: engineering, enabling, enforcement and engagement. Significant plans are already in place to deliver this.

This includes for example enforcement work targeted on speeding, seatbelts, mobile phone use and drink/drug driving.

Through working in effective partnership across London the MPS has already seen a reduction in those killed or seriously against the 2005-2009 baseline.
