On 29 November 2016 the Deputy Mayor's Housing Investment and Policy Panel meeting noted that "officers in the London Land Commission is (sic) currently working with TfL and Regeneration Team colleagues to work up a tailored programme to bring forward small sites and engage with SMEs. Transport for London is working with the GLA to develop a pipeline of sites for the GLA's "Small Sites, Small Builders" programme.

The programme will set out a simple process to enable SME builders and community land trusts to access public sector land for development and will provide a standardised set of contracts to enable the delivery of homes.

This programme will be funded through the Growth Deal capital grant allocation of £13.4m which runs from 2017/18 to 2020/21. I expect to make an announcement on the pilot programme in the autumn.
