The Adult Education Budget funds post-19 provision and presently this sits within the Education and Skills Funding Agency, which is part of the Department for Education.  Negotiations are underway with central government to ensure that the funding settlement for the devolved Adult Education Budget to City Hall in 2019/2020 is no less than current levels.    In the meantime, through a series of recent Growth Deal settlements, London has secured over a quarter of a billion pounds in funding for capital investment in London's further education colleges, the allocation of which is now under the stewardship of my new Skills for Londoners Taskforce.
