Repatriation of powers and funding from the EU should not go to Westminster and Whitehall, but to the GLA, the devolved nations and other metro mayors.

London in particular already has a unique status as the 'Intermediate Body' responsible for our share of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and European Social Fund (ESF) programmes.

The Government must ensure that remaining 2014-20 European funding can be utilised in full both prior to and post-Brexit; and that ERDF and ESF programmes are replaced by a wholly devolved skills, employment, enterprise, environment and infrastructure fund  from 2019 onwards, in order to avoid any gap in provision.
