Further to Question No: 2017/0606: 'Is MOPAC cutting funding for drugs and alcohol support workers embedded in custody suites, and if so by how much and why?' Your response being: 'Responsibility for commissioning alcohol and drug workers in MPS custody suites lies with the local authorities. MOPAC funds the local authorities through the London Crime Prevention Fund (LCPF). I have protected and maintained the LCPF at £72m over the next four years, despite continued pressures on the police budget.
