Unfortunately the data available from CPS does not enable tracking of cases through the system, given this I cannot comment on prosecutions specific to those arrested since the referendum, as the length of time between arrest and court finalisation varies considerably.

However, I can provide an indication of the outcomes of arrests for race hate crime at the point of MPS custody. In the period 24 June to 10 December 2016 there were 1,733 people arrested for racial hate crime across London.

       30.6% of arrestees were charged and bailed to court

       25.1% were charged and detained for court appearance

       13% were bailed to a police station pending further investigation
