Kennington station is planned to be rezoned in 2020 as part of the commercial arrangements with the developers of the extension of the Northern line into Battersea.

The extension is planned to open in 2020.  The new stations on the extension will charge Zone 1 fares. Overall, the extension to the network and zone changes will increase TfL revenue.

The cost of amending maps and other printed and electronic material will be shared wider communication costs associated with the new stations and will also be accommodated through the natural cycle of replacement of materials required as part of usual business operations. It is therefore not possible to apportion an exact cost.
