TfL currently provides WiFi for customers at 250 of its 270 underground stations and is looking to further increase this number.

TfL is also exploring the potential of introducing mobile phone coverage for customers underground, including in the tunnels between stations, and will progress this if it is commercially viable. The introduction of such coverage would be subject to engagement with users of the underground.
