The RB6 river bus route from Putney to Canary Wharf is operated by MBNA Thames Clippers under contract to Transport for London's London River Services. Through the Port of London Authority's Wash Forum, London River Services, the Port of London Authority and MBNA Thames Clippers work with houseboat owners to minimise any impact of this river bus route.

Recent changes to the route's passage plan have seen a reduction in the number of issues reported. Additional work is underway to identify steps that could be taken to further reduce the impact of this busy river bus route.
