The Job Related Fitness Test (JRFT) was introduced in 2014. Approximately 2500-3000 officers take the JRFT each month which consists of a 15 metre shuttle run (bleep test) to level 5.4.

An officer has two chances to retake the fitness test before management action is taken.  The reasons for failure are not recorded, just that the officer has not met the required standard.

The pass rate for 2015 was 98% and for 2016 was 99%. The data is broken down by month in the tables below.
