The most experienced staff in TfL's Customer Services team answer calls on the Sarah Hope Line (SHL) and the line and its budget are managed within the Customer Services team.

Customer Service staff are empowered to utilise whatever portion of this budget they feel is necessary to deal with the very serious enquiries they receive through the SHL, and to date, these costs have been able to be absorbed within TfL's overall budget for customer services.
