Answer for Employees of TfL paid through Personal Service Companies

Answered By:
The Mayor

Agency workers, including those Personal Service Companies engaged through agencies and third parties are not employed by TfL and are therefore paid neither an annual salary nor any benefits afforded to employees. They are paid solely the agreed daily rate for their services and are not entitled to Staff or Nominee travel passes.

TfL continues to reduce reliance on agency workers and as at 10 December 2016 we engaged 839 fewer agency workers than in April 2016, equating to a weekly saving of £1.65m.
