You are right that Hammersmith Bridge is primarily a matter for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, but Transport for London (TfL) has an interest in this part of London's road network.

TfL is working with the borough to ensure residents, businesses and road users are kept informed about any works on Hammersmith Bridge which affect their journeys. The authorities are working together so that future travel advice is clear and consistent, to ensure those affected by any works are able to plan their journeys with the minimum amount of disruption.
