TfL is developing designs for the junction to create a less intimidating environment for pedestrians and other vulnerable road users. Proposals include narrowing the road to encourage lower vehicle speeds and providing an additional pedestrian crossing on the eastern side of the junction.

TfL expects to undertake public consultation during this financial year; however the scheme could progress earlier if current discussions with the developer of 100 West Cromwell Road to secure additional funding are successful.
