Emirates Air Line has reported 1.225 million passenger journeys this financial year (up to 7 January 2017), which is down by just over four per cent compared to the same period last financial year.

Recent trends in ridership show year-on-year increases - over the past eight weeks ridership has been 27 per cent higher than in the same time period last year.

The marketing expenditure has been reduced this financial year and is over 40 per cent below the same period last year.
