TfL recently launched a formal review into the Piccadilly line train wheel flats which had a severe impact on services during November and December 2016. This inquiry has already begun and will be producing a final report shortly. I have asked TfL to provide you with a summary once this is complete.

In advance of this inquiry, TfL has committed to a number of mitigations for this year. This includes rail adhesion trains on all areas of the Piccadilly line and increasing the locations where it can fix trains and wheels to ensure a faster response time.
