The footbridge, a development that is the responsibility of Blackstone Property Management, will extend from Chiswick Business Park to Chiswick Park station, allowing business park employees quick access to a second Tube station and thus taking the pressure off Gunnersbury station.

Until the developers commence the footbridge work TfL is managing increased customer demand from Chiswick Business Park by occasionally operating Gunnersbury station as exit only during the morning peak. This is to ensure the safety of customers.

I urge the developers to continue engaging with the London Borough of Hounslow and Network Rail to get the footbridge in place as soon as possible, as its completion will bring about great benefits to those who regularly travel to and from the area. In the meantime, station controls will remain in place and TfL will continue to press the developer to make speedy progress.
