TfL, Network Rail and the London Borough of Southwark have agreed that new pedestrian crossings will be installed at the Bermondsey Street junction, and that the crossing by Hayes Lane and Stainer Street will be relocated and widened.

TfL has approved Network Rail's traffic modelling for these changes, and the crossings will be provided before the station works are completed in 2018.
