An introductory event for the London Sustainable Drainage Action Plan (LSDAP), in collaboration with TfL, took place on 17th November 2016. Following this, the London Sustainable Drainage Action Plan was published at alongside five case studies of retrofit sustainable drainage projects. The GLA will ensure implementation of the action plan supported by funding from Tideway by working with partners across the city.

The GLA set up the Drain London programme using funding from Defra in 2010 to investigate, model and map surface water risks across London and work with boroughs to produce surface water management plans. Drain London supports some important and innovative work on surface water flood risk and sustainable drainage both in providing data and implementing projects.
