Your recent review of the OPDC recommended a greater level of community involvement. Will you be implementing this recommendation? And if so how will you involve the local community in decisions affecting them and the OPDC?

OPDC is committed to involving local communities.  There has been a local resident and a local business entrepreneur on the OPDC's Board since inception, and OPDC's Statement of Community Involvement has been developed with local communities and has recently been enhanced. OPDC hosts Forums and Events for local communities and voluntary/third sector organisations, to listen to their feedback to inform OPDC plans, and will continue to develop relationships with diverse community groups and local resident groups. A recently established Community Sounding Board, comprising of representatives from the local diverse communities, is supporting future funding applications. During the its first 18 months of existence, OPDC has undertaken 16 Local Plan consultation events and hosted 25 Site Tours, including with the London Assembly on two occasions, and the Chief Executive meets twice a year with the heads of the local CVS's
