This scheme was audited in 2013 as part of the annual compliance audit process operated by the previous Mayor, which checked, amongst other things, that the rents charged at first letting were in line with the rents set out when bidding for funding.

In line with their funding contract with the previous Mayor, Hyde would also have been able, subject to other legal agreements, to convert homes on relet to higher, affordable rents.

Since becoming Mayor, I have agreed no additional conversions of social housing at relet and it is not allowed as part of my funding programme.
