In your February 2016 Chinese New Year message to the Chinese community you undertook to support the community's call for a London Memorial for the 95,000 Chinese Labour Corps members, whose contribution to Britain during the First World War has yet to be properly commemorated.  Further to Question No. 2016/3890 posed by my Assembly colleague Andrew Dismore in October, please outline what steps the Mayor has taken to date to progress this pre-election pledge?

I remain committed to working with London's Chinese community to commemorate the Chinese Labour Corps to Britain's First World War effort.

I have instructed my community relations team to meet with members of the Chinese community to discuss this further.
