Through my Healthy Schools London (HSL) programme, schools are welcome to include cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillator training as part of their application for a bronze award, but it is not a specific requirement. Should there be sufficient evidence and demand from our strategic partners, then I will certainly ask my HSL team to look into making this a requirement for an HSL award.
