The Mayor

The second round of the Mayor's Air Quality Fund (MAQF), which started in April, is supporting 22 projects across 28 boroughs over the three financial years from 2016/17 to 2018/19.

Boroughs have received £1.7m in 2016/17, with future years' funding subject to progress made this financial year, and key milestones being met for each scheme.

Furthermore, the MAQF is supporting five Low Emission Neighbourhoods (LEN) across London over the next three years with up to £1m each.

This new initiative will deliver significant improvements to local air quality, enhance the urban realm and encourage sustainable modes of transport. TfL is happy to provide further details of the MAQF second round programme and the individual LEN schemes if required.
