How does your response that "the existing Masterplan…has a consent that cannot be revoked" (MQ2016/1885) square with the statement issued by your spokesperson during the recent Mayoral campaign which read: "Sadiq will review the Earl's Court Masterplan as he has serious reservations about the overall direction the scheme is taking"?

My statutory planning role prevents me from revoking the previous grant of planning permission.

However, I have been clear that should a new masterplan application be submitted, I will review this against the policies set out in the London Plan.

It is not appropriate for me to discuss the merits of a potential application to avoid prejudicing any decision.
