With reference to MQ 2337, the reduction of Environmental Crime, as referenced in the report under the sub-category of illegal trade plants/wildlife, centres on the Met's Wildlife Crime Unit's work in London.

I have committed to providing the resources it needs to be effective, and will ensure that my budget includes provisions for the unit to continue its important work. I am proud that London hosts the only police service with a dedicated Wildlife Crime Unit and I will support their work as Mayor.
