This is a fantastic opportunity to give this part of London a new crossing which could relieve pressure on the Jubilee line at Canada Water, offer a huge boost for new jobs and homes, while promoting greener and safer ways of crossing the Thames.

I have asked Transport for London to come forward with plans to progress a crossing for pedestrians and cyclists at this location, including the timescales for the delivery. In the meantime TfL is also looking at ways to enhance the existing passenger ferry service at this location.
