Newbury Park station is eligible for participation in TfL's £76m Step-Free Access Partnership programme, which will be used to match third party contributions and make up to 12 more London Underground stations step free over the next ten years.

Managers from TfL and Officers from Redbridge Council met in December 2015 and discussed the eligibility of Newbury Park station under this programme. Funding opportunities are currently being investigated for the scheme and officers plan to meet again shortly to make a decision on whether a step free scheme at Newbury Park can be progressed.
