Question

Given the popularity of the display and that 106,491 tickets were sold and only 82,000 ticketholders turned up, will you be considering a system where repeated "no-shows" are unable to purchase tickets in future years?

No.  Audience members may have a range of reasons for non-attendance at the event. Each ticket purchaser can purchase up to four tickets and cannot be held responsible for the attendance of others in their group. Given that three quarters of ticket purchasers are first-time attendees at the event, this approach would be unlikely to have a significant impact on ticket availability and introducing such a system and integrating it with ticket booking would be difficult and costly.
