I believe that allocating additional funding to Housing Zones, thus increasing housing supply of all tenures, will maximise the delivery of affordable housing. Similarly, given the nature of the interventions I am funding through the Housing Zones programme, not only will the programme unlock similar levels of affordable housing supply, but will bring many other benefits, like new infrastructure and community facilities that would never have been delivered otherwise.
