The December 2015 TfL board papers state 'It has proved impossible to produce a design for the northern end of the CS11 route that meets the required standards.' Please explain the reasons why this is the case.

TfL continues to develop proposals for Cycle Superhighway 11 from Brent Cross to central London with the relevant London boroughs. Subject to final discussions with key stakeholders, public consultation on the section from Swiss Cottage to central London will begin in February.

Further feasibility work is required for the northern section of route to mitigate the significant impacts on other road users.
