My previous response to MQ 2015 /3255 referred to feeder routes to Cycle Superhighway 1 (CS1) from Liverpool Street station to White Hart Lane in Tottenham, which is due for completion in spring 2016.

The south end of the CS1 will connect with the Central London Grid at Finsbury Square.  This section of the Grid is being delivered by the Corporation of London and is due for completion in summer 2016.

Sections of Quietway 2 from Bloomsbury to Walthamstow are under construction and the whole route is due for completion in December 2016.

Quietway 2 will cross CS1 at De Beauvoir Road/Middleton Road. LB Hackney will be trialling an area filtered permeability scheme, including Middleton Road, for three months starting in January 2016.  This is aimed at reducing the amount of through traffic in the area and creating a safer environment for cycling and walking.

There would be benefits of connecting CS1 to the Enfield Mini-Holland network and TfL is exploring future options to achieve this.
