Do you believe that a higher statutory minimum wage rate should apply within Greater London and, if so, what are you doing to lobby government for such a change? If not, why not?

I believe that the voluntary London Living Wage is the right way to increase wage rates within Greater London, reflecting the different financial pressures on many small firms, and I will continue to urge all employers across the capital who can afford to do so, to sign up to paying their employees the LLW.
