Of London Undergrounds' 36 vending pitches 3 sell fruit and vegetables. These are in East Finchley, Finchley Road and Liverpool Street.

The other pitches are let in a combination of uses including flower stalls, coffee carts and private hire booking stands.

Over the coming year TfL aims to double the number of vending pitches, not just in the London Underground estate but across its portfolio of assets.  TfL has identified many more potential sites that will enable it to do this. These locations will go through an approval process.  Each location is unique and space is allocated on a case by case basis, subject to the operational needs of each location.  A pitch can only be made available if the space doesn't affect customers' journeys or impact any planned changes or developments at the station.
